Frequently Asked Questions

Is Microblading a tattoo?

Unlike a regular tattoo, microblading is a form of tattoo artistry where pigment is implanted under your skin with a manual handheld tool instead of a machine.

Does Microblading hurt?

The pain level for the procedure is considered to be mild to none but of course, everyone's pain tolerance is different. We do provide numbing cream for those wary of pain.

How long does the Microblading last after it's done?

Since microblading pigments are not implanted into the skin as deep as traditional tattoos, the area will naturally fade over time depending on your skin type (normal, oily, dry) and age (youthful/mature). Each individual's color retention within the skin will also vary (1-3 years).

Is the touch-up session after Microblading necssary?

Yes! A touch-up session after 4-6 weeks is necessary to help define the look of your brows. Everyone heals differently and thus the outcome of the microblading process will vary but the touch-up session will refine your eyebrows to ensure that they look perfect and retain their color for an entire year!

How long is the appointment?

It usually takes an hour and thirty minutes to two hours to complete the entire process. Most of the time is spent going over colors and drawing eyebrow shapes; the microblading portion only lasts about 45 minutes.

Who is eligible for microblading?

We do not provide microblading for: people who are under 18 years of age, pregnant or nursing women; or people who have diabetes, glaucoma; skin diseases such as shingles, psoriasis or excema on the area of treatment; allergies to makeup; Keloid Disorder, HIV/Hepatits, skin cancer; or those taking skin medications such as Roaccutaine or steroids.

Is there a cancellation policy?

Yes! The deposit for initial appointments will be forfeited if the client does not show up to their appointment.
